It has been more than two years since the Florida-based hard rock band Shinedown came to The Palladium. They are finally coming back Sunday, but there’s been some “madness” between visits.

Urine-flinging prisoner moved after new conviction

FITCHBURG — An inmate at the maximum security prison in Shirley, scheduled to finish his manslaughter sentence this month, has relocated to the Worcester County House of Correction after being convicted Monday of repeatedly throwing his urine and feces at nearly a dozen different prison guards.
Dirt bike rider busted after rounding bases

WORCESTER — A Southbridge Street man was arrested last night shortly after a police officer watched in disbelief as he allegedly sped, on a dirt bike, around the bases of a baseball diamond during a game at Crompton Park.
Woman accused of smacking beau with toilet seat

FORT PIERCE, Fla. — Police arrested a couple after the woman allegedly hit her boyfriend with a toilet seat. The woman, 18, told police that she found her boyfriend smoking cocaine in their bathroom and turned on the shower to try and wash away the drugs.
